This monument for Danish sailors fallen during the second world war is situated in the Memorial cemetery of Mindelunden in Ryvangen. The monument consists of a pool of water sunken slightly to the ground and eclosed by a spiral-shaped concrete wall. From the water peek periscope-shaped sculptures that encourage the visitor to communicate with the soldiers, who rest in the bottom of the sea.
