This penthouse is fully immersed in the natural landscape of the Alps, offering a seamless connection to its surroundings. It features a spacious private garden with a swimming pool, set near a local river. Its unique orientation allows for uninterrupted, panoramic views of the city below. At the heart of the home is a generous living area with an integrated kitchen. A flexible layout allows this space to be separated from the rest of the apartment to provide additional privacy when needed. Large sliding glass doors open the interior to the garden, blurring the line between indoors and outdoors. Materials were carefully selected for their warmth and tactile qualities: large ceramic tiles on the floors, evaporated acacia wood for the cabinetry and wall elements, and solid brass for the kitchen niche. Soft, rounded forms run throughout the design, promoting a sense of calm and encouraging natural flow and movement through the space. The kitchen island, topped with ceramic, integrates an invisible induction hob and also functions as the dining table, reinforcing the apartment’s clean and minimal aesthetic. The swimming pool features an innovative moveable platform: it acts as a protective cover during the winter and transforms into a sun deck in the summer, making the outdoor space both practical and elegant year-round.
